As pan of it's alternative fuels program, DIDAC introduced this biodiesel program which includes the dynamic performance of biodiesel engines with its patented electric. Biodiesel Engine Program   contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications. Students can make their own fuel, conduct engine performance and emission measurements. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics. engine test stands are available with or without dynamometers. The user has the choice to order either an electric of up to 8 HP or a hydraulic closed-loop, up to 600 HP.
