Electrodynamometer 60 HZ The Electrodynamometer is in fact a 2-pole DC machine that can be used to teach principles in operating direct current motor and generator. It can also be configured in series, compound and shunt motor/generator. For the field control circuit, the module incorporates a rheostat with breaker protection. It is equipped with a balance arm, a load cell system and an optical encoder. Torque, speed and calculated mechanical power can be displayed by means of a single selector. For ease of identification and use, the specifications and schematic diagrams are silk-screened on the reverse of the clear front panel.
