In theDaimler Benz S class, four spring legs are used on the front and rear axle asfunction elements of the Airmatic. They are connected with one another via adata bus. The following can be clearly seen on the model: Air suspension withinlet valve for level control and lowering of the chassis, damper with bottomvalve and gas area, solenoid valves for the regulation of the damping strength.
