The cutaway trainer demonstrates the internal operation of a 4X4 drivetrain with automatic transmission and permits the student to visualize and safely operate the system. For training purposes the teaching aid uses an electronic speed selector with lamps to show the applied and released clutches and bands. This allows the cutaway transmission to be correctly shifted through all speeds.

Main Features of Cutaway 4x4 Drive Train Automatic Transmission

• Driven by 120VAC electric motor.
• Allows visualization of gear changes, planetary gear sets, clutches, bands, transfer case power flow, differential function and limited slip differential function (clutch type).
• Gear changes can be made using an electronic speed selector with lamps to show the applied and released clutches and bands.
• Transfer case can be shifted electronically.
