Description of Compact Centrifugal Fan Test Set

Compact Centrifugal Fan Test Set is a bench top unit for studying the small centrifugal fan characteristics.

The unit consists of a small industrial centrifugal fan with a backward blade impeller and a motor on a steel base, an advanced inverter, inlet and outlet ducts, and measuring instruments. An interchangeable forward blade impeller is provided for comparison of operating characteristics.

Fan ratings :

3. Inlet duct : Transparent, with flow straighteners and inlet orifice.
4. Outlet duct : Transparent, with flow straighteners and damper.

Measuring instruments

1. Flow measurement : Inlet orifice and inclined water manometer, 0-450 mm x 1 mm graduation, multiple slope.
2. Differential pressure across fan : Inclined water manometer , 0-450 mm x 1 mm graduation, multiple slope.
3. Thermometer and barometer : 1 set.

Accessories : Forward blade impeller and barometer.

Power supply : 220V 1Ph 50Hz. Other power supply is available on request.
